Why Translation & Interpreting Program ?
Most international students must take time to think and conjure up full English sentences in their mind before they can speak and write. Also, they convert English sentences into their native language when they read and listen in English. This appears to be a natural process for students whose native language is not English.
Our Interpreting & Translation Program reduces the time needed to think of English sentences by practicing and studying repetitively with various topics and sentence structures within the scope of translation between two languages. Eventually students will be able to make clear sentences and speak in English immediately without pausing.
Our Interpreting & Translation program is the best way to improve English skills and understand English.

In 1994, at the request of Ontario’s Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation, CISOC developed the Cultural Interpreter Language and
Interpreting Skills Assessment Tool (CILISAT) in order to evaluate the language and interpretation proficiencies of people applying for certification
as community interpreters.
The CILISAT offers recruiters and service providers a snapshot of an individual’s current ability in consecutive interpreting and sight translating in
any of 44 languages and dialects. CISOC manages and administers CILISAT certification in these 44 languages throughout Canada.
